Improve Document Accessibility With UM Document Converter
, in partnership with Sensus Access, is available to all faculty, staff, and students at the 网曝门. While it does not produce a fully accessible document, it can help improve the accessibility of scanned or untagged PDFs. It also can convert documents into a variety of alternative formats to meet different needs.

Accessibility Conversion
can be used to improve the accessibility of scanned or untagged PDFs.
Step 1: Upload your file. This may take a few seconds.
Step 2: Under Target Format, select Accessibility Conversion.
Step 3: Select PDF – Tagged PDF (Image over Text). The image over text option helps preserve the original appearance of your document, though the output may appear slightly blurrier in some cases.
Finally, enter your email address and select Submit. Your converted file will be sent to you shortly.
Alternative Formats
can also convert files into alternative formats that may better suit your needs. Available formats include MP3 (audio), Word, Braille, and eBooks. To create an alternative format, upload your file and select the desired output format under Target Format. The quality of the conversion may vary depending on the original file.
